Dave Nemo is certainly no stranger to truckers. His popular radio show continues the same tradition of service, friendship and camaraderie that began over 30 years ago in a little studio on Rampart Street in New Orleans. After a stint in the army, Dave came back to New Orleans where he returned to work for WWL radio station. He worked as a host for the station along with Charlie Douglas who started a radio revolution. The show was called the Road Gang - the first radio program aimed directly and solely to the over the road professional truck driver. The rest, as they say, is history. Dave is on the air

Joey Holiday

Joey's interest in trucking started right with his own family; his uncle was a full time trucker and his dad also drove for awhile. This Mongomery, AL native says his mother taught him three guitar chords as a boy. Joey combined his love of music with his respect for trucking to come up with his unique brand of trucking music.
Joey has performed with Waylon Jennings at Truckerfest "99 in Nevada, Mid America Truck Show in Louisville, KY, Shell Superrigs Show in Walcott, IA, as well as the National Special Olympics in Ames, IA in July 2006.
Joey certainly is a Trucker's Friend.
Michael Burns-Road Dog Channel 106 Sirius/XM

Michael moved around a bit after his career as a law enforcement officer, finally settling in Nashville, TN. He became a trucker and, after his first million miles, became a trainer, until he found a trainee he liked to drive with and they drove team for a year or so.
Things started happening on the music scene and Michael went back to pursuing his love of writing and recording until he found himself on the production side of the process where he struck up an ongoing friendship with Dave Nemo.
One night Dave mentioned that they were looking for a new on-air personality and Michael jumped for the challenge. Michael's main goal is to make the few hours he is on the air the best he can for the drivers listening in. He realizes it is a difficult job out there and he wants to do his part for all of them.
Truckers Against Trafficking
www.truckersagainsttrafficking.com
Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) began as an
initiative of Chapter 61 Ministries in March 2009 to educate, equip, empower, and mobilize the trucking industry to combat human trafficking as part of their regular jobs. Today, TAT is its own organization and offers the trucking industry specific training materials such as wallet cards, which include the national human trafficking hotline number 1-888-373-7888, signs to look for and questions to ask in the hopes of identifying potential human trafficking victims. Our website, and on demand webinar, provide current resources on how to combat human trafficking, and our 28 minute training DVD located on our website offers a comprehensive view of domestic sex trafficking and what the trucking industry can do to help stop it. Truckers are the eyes and ears
of our nation's highways and can make such a
difference in this cause. Already, thousands have become Truckers Against Trafficking and, as a result, lives are being saved!
